Levain in DC is completely worth the visit. The cookies are warm, thick, gooey, and honestly some of the best you will ever taste. Every bite feels rich and freshly baked, and the flavors are on point every single time. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they keep the line moving fast even when it gets busy. The shop is clean, cozy, and smells amazing the moment you walk in. If you love desserts or just want to treat yourself to something unforgettable, Levain DC is a must try. Absolutely five star experience. 🍪✨
I had their Two Chip Chocolate Chip Cookie and it was the best! It’s not too soft or too dry and their prices are reasonable and match the quality. If you love chocolate, you should definitely give it a try!!🍪
Cookies r simply delicious. Rich and decadent. Breads are also delicious, too. Nutty, fruity and chewy. Everything is delicious. Additionally, their Crew is fun, friendly, energetic, patient, and kind, providing excellent customer service. Great place for a quick recharge.
I stopped by Levain Bakery in Washington, D.C., and tried their famous two chocolate chip cookies — and they truly lived up to the hype. Warm, thick, and perfectly gooey inside with a crisp golden edge, each bite was rich and satisfying. The bakery has a cozy, inviting atmosphere with the aroma of fresh cookies filling the air, and the staff were friendly and quick. It’s a great stop for anyone craving something sweet and freshly baked while exploring the city.
Cookies are pretty decent, but their operation is slow as heck… don’t even think about going on a Saturday or Sunday or around any holiday if you hate lines and waiting. I mean this should be a cookie factory line, what are we doing!! I guess Georgetown cupcakes and other places in Georgetown have the same problem but still... They should also make the lemon cookie a permanent cookie! Their best cookie in my opinion, but it is seasonal.
