Let's Do Lunch

Great little lunch place near the hospital. We finished up and we’re looking for a place to grab a quick bite and saw this right down the street so we stopped in. Great food just like Mom would make plenty of options and reasonably priced huge parking lot.

Let’s Do Lunch is truly a local Decatur gem! The chicken salad is phenomenal—our go-to every time. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The desserts are always delightful, often with an exciting twist that makes each visit feel special. The restaurant is very clean, the staff is friendly and upbeat, and the service is always top-notch. What really sets this place apart is the owner, Debra. She clearly pours her heart into this business, and it shows in every detail—from the quality of the food to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. We couldn’t recommend Let’s Do Lunch more!

The food is decent but the person at the register is rude. She wasn’t friendly at all as we were ordering. We sat outside to eat and as we were leaving, they were locking the doors and someone from our group asked to use the restroom. She told them no and we were appalled. She wasn’t even leaving yet, so 2 min of her time and a little common courtesy would have been nice. I won’t be back again. The owner (or who I assume owns it) was very friendly as she was leaving. So this is strictly a reflection of the person at the register.

Wonderful food and service always! The hummingbird cake is my favorite! The fruit tea is amazing. My daughters beg me to take them there all the time.

Good service, nice people, prices are high. Lunch for 2 expect to pay 20-30 food is very good though. Cake is awesome
