Leslie's Pastries

We found a cute little pastry shop right in the middle of downtown Holladay today! Apparently they have been in business for 50 years. Who knew? Display and decor is cute. The pastries, cakes, cookies and all of the baked goodies looked delightful. I asked the shop girl if I could just have one of everything! We bought a variety of items and they are all delicious. Not to die for delicious, but good. Shop is clean and inviting. Closed on Sunday and Monday.

My first visit to this bakery the food is delicious. However, the staff don’t adhere to basic food handler process. She had put my items in the bag in the very last one she touched with her bare hands. I asked her did you use your bare hands to grab that and she said yes I just washed them. I told her that Rudy made Food should always have some protective layer between her skin fingernails and Band-Aid and my food. She got a pretty crappy attitude when I called her out on the behavior and was gaslighting me about her, touching my food with her bare hands, and that I shouldn’t be upset because Washed them well if she just washed them she had a wet Band-Aid and was touching my food. Very unprofessional for some business with such great food to have poor etiquette with their young staff. I un

Decent amount of options - the German Brownie had a little to many nuts for my palate but the sweet cream on top was nice and soft. They brownies themselves were overall a good chew! We also had the cream filled eclairs, the chocolate frosting/cream above tasted like those gas station chocolate donuts - however the cream on the inside was smooth and filling (no pun intended)

Wow, this place is a little gem! The strawberry jam macrons, the chocolate palmiers, and the eclairs are a can't miss. The girl helping me was also super sweet and answered all my questions. They have discounted sweets by the door from the day before.

All things good here. Everything from breads to sweets with plenty to choose from. The white cake with sprinkles is my favorite but you have to try the strudels that you can’t just eat one of. Friendly staff! Let’s get out and support this business.
