Big bakery with lots of options but a bit high price. I came here Saturday morning and it wasn’t too busy. The store is big and sells variety of bakery items: cake, cookie, pastry, pre-made food, ice cream, milk etc. Their price is definitely on higher side, regular cake is $22, a bit more flavor cake is $30 etc. I got some puff and zeppoli and they are pretty ok. The parking lot is small and with all snow around, there was barely space to back up car and avoid other cars to leave. Also the check-out line needs a better attention. There was no sign on where we should form the line, so people just stand randomly and cut each other off when go to check-out.
We were immediately impressed with the bakery items that they have when you first walk in. Everything looks so fresh and the store is very inviting. We decided to eat in their cafe and it was a mistake. We ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich and meatball sandwich. We also ordered chili. The chili was pretty good. The bread for the sandwiches was too overly crunchy, and there was too much sauce covering up the overcooked chicken and meatballs. The tables in the dining room were wobbly and the room was a mess; crumbs all over the seats and tables. One of the workers behind the register was sneezing and dazing off into the air not paying attention to customers. Again, the bakery is great but skip the cafe!
Wow! I am blown away with the cake I ordered. I was not sure what to expect but I know my parents will be very happy. Looking forward to trying it but almost too pretty to eat. Thanks again!
I’m gonna be completely honest about my experience. We ordered full size subs, which were a bit small, fillings were also on the skimpy side. But the bread was fresh and really good. Next time I’d order extra meat knowing that there isn’t much being put in them. The chili was the only soup they had yesterday and it was horrendous it was bland, had no flavor and needed seasoning. But the deli department was amazing gonna few pounds of cold cuts(the main reason we went) and the bakery section had more items then rubinos which was great to see. Overall the place has great atmosphere and their service was great but their sandwiches need work and their chili also needs work
My son and husband went to Leo to shop and get subs. My son bit into sub and almost swallowed a screw. The manager saw the screw worker took it. He said it may have been in the dough. Omg I owned a restaurant and have my own businesses. This does not happen if people are paying attention who knows was probably intentional by sub maker and employees that play pranks. Terrible customer service will never go again telling all people I meet
