Great-granddaughter of My Old Kentucky Home banjo player, Lem Reed, and Kentucky Black Trailblazer, Annie Reed, kicked off a partnership with Bourbon City Kitchen & Trade Company to open its first brick-and-mortar location in Downtown Bardstown.

I visited Bardstown during the annual craft fair and was delighted to find Lems Cafe for some coffee and pastries on the way to the fair. The coffee was delicious, it was rich and flavorful, I came back everyday I was there. The crew at the cafe is so fun, what a great energy. Next year I will be back again for some yummy coffee!
I love Lem's Cafe. The coffee is ethically sourced and very flavorful. I'm a coffee snob and I'm picky. The owner is always very welcoming and accommodating for my pickiness 😆. I try and go in at least once a week and have never had a bad experience. Great atmosphere and people 👏 👌
As a coffee snob, I can tell honestly tell you they have some of the best coffee I've ever had locally. I ordered the cold brew just black. You could easily drink this with nothing added. It's so smooth and delicious.
Great vibes, great drinks, and freshly made food! Amanda is so nice and everything was so good, I might go back for lunch.
The owner is absolutely positive with a great demeanor. I usually purchase her coffee, which I think is better than Starbucks. I also purchase coffee beans from her. And she always has my preferred bold beans.
