I went here in grad school around 25 years ago. Back then there was no yelp, there was Zagats and the food rating here was astronomical and deserved. Unbelievable food. So great to see you are still here. Your Lingnan lychee Duck is incredible!!! 利口福万岁!!!
Had an excellent meal here after rock climbing on a Friday night, I was able to walk right in and be served immediately. Lee How Fook has been around in Chinatown for a long time it seems, and while the interior and atmosphere won't blow you away the food was solid and classic and I'm excited to return for more. I had heard a lot about the salt-baked squid and it was actually the main reason I tried this spot in the first place, and it definitely lived up to the hype! Perfectly lightly battered, salty, and every bite made you want to take another. It had a touch of freshness underneath with some jalepeno and green onion which was appreciated since it's a fairly one-note dish. While I 100% recommend this dish, I would note a couple things: first, I would recommend splitting it as more of
Went here for dinner with some friends. The food was delicious. It's small and cozy inside but worth the coziness for the delicious meals. The good was very reasonable and easy to get to. Parking wasn't easy for Philadelphia, but that's nothing new. The service was amazing as well. Will definitely be back.
Ok it's December 8 and still freezing outside. Decided to go for Chinese takeout. Lee How Fook is a little bit off of rest of restaurants. My first time here. Got hot and sour soup, steam dumplings and main dish pork in garlic sauce. Soup is outstanding, the best I've had in Philadelphia and pork was in broth, dumplings delicious and defy fresh, garlic pork was a surprise. Yes delicious and flavors were wonderful. Slightly sweet and a nice kick of heat( I like mine spicier) All fresh, large amounts very happy customer. Without a doubt will be coming here many more times. And guess what, white rice included, no charge 💜💜💜💜💜
Open Christmas Day. Ordered wonton soup, Buddha Delight and the much heard about Salt Baked Shrimp Squid and Scallop. The wonton filling seems homemade and have a good consistency, came quickly and the 8 pc was enough for the two of us to get some warmth into our body. The rest of the food came fairl quickly. Both dishes are great and we highly recommend Trying.
