Ledo Pizza Georgia Ave, DC

Ledo has long been one of my favorite pizza spots, known for flavorful pizzas with a crispy crust and great toppings across multiple locations. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was a letdown where the pizza was nowhere near its usual quality, with a soggy crust and an underwhelming taste and texture.

(Epilepsy warning: One of the streetlights outside is malfunctioning and acting like an unending strobe light. Please be cautious if you have seizures triggered by flashing lights.) I hate to give a bad review since the service was great, but I haven't gotten this sick from eating at a restaurant in probably a decade. Usually I don't leave a bad review even if I get sick after eating food at a restaurant, but I can't let it slide when I'm projectile vomiting at 4 AM. I wish I hadn't spent so much money on food that made me this sick. And the insult to injury is that now I have to throw away the leftovers I planned to eat tomorrow. I only get carry out so I can’t comment on the atmosphere. The pizza and salads are great! Tried the sausage sandwich for the first time. Much smaller than the picture on the website - wouldn’t order that again.

This location has been here since I was in high school. The food and service continues to be good. I like that there is free off street parking and it's clean inside and out. Great job Ledo Pizza!

We drove around the DC area for a while looking for a decent place to eat with my family. as we passed through the area when we stumbled upon Ledo’s. Let me tell you we weren’t disappointed. This is not your hole in the wall pizza restaurant with bad lighting and 2 tables for 2; which seem to be the norm around here. What welcomed us was a nicely kept family restaurant experience. The food was delicious but the service was an A++. I’m really bad with names but the gentleman that served us and had patience for our messy baby took the experience from good to great. Definitely will remember this place if we’re ever in the area again.
