Lebanon Public Library

Grand reopening today was amazing! The swag was an unexpected surprise. I will cherish the mug & those cookies were so beautiful, and delicious. You kept the classic details like the stained glass and the murals and tactile play installations in the children's section are beautiful and fun additions. Summer Reading program kickoff event was packed! Our kiddo loved it. This place really is the social welfare heart of Lebanon. These librarians are the best! I called one day to ask about a private meeting room, and they didn't have one, but the librarian told me about other nearby libraries that do have them. One of my favorite places to visit with my daughter! 💜

A wonderful library. I brought our kids here (3 and 6) to find a few bed time stories. I'm ashamed to admit it's been far too long since I've been to a library, but the librarian was so kind and helpful! She helped us find all of the books we wanted and even gave the kids a couple of little crafts to bring home for later. Thank you for making it such a great experience for the kids, we'll be back soon for more books!

This is a great library in the heart of Lebanon, at Broadway and Main. The historic facade shows this is their original Carnegie Library, expanded outward and downward through the years, so now there are three stories. The book collection is solid. I checked out two authors in fiction and two topics in non-fiction and found plenty of books for each. Friendly librarians abound if you need help. My favorite place was on the bottom floor: their computer lab also is their quiet space. It's heaven!! All you hear is the clicking of mice, the tapping of keys and the occasional sotto voce of a librarian helping someone. Every library should have a room like this!! The fun continues outside. To the west is the library park, with a shaded pavilion and lots of benches, chairs and tables. And yes,

A Carnegie library that has grown into a multipurpose center for the small Lebanon City. Kudos for the city to figure new avenues for this small facility to have options for the public to use. Now if only they could update the website, it would a step in the future direction.

A library worth going back to. A little small, didn't see too many DVDs/CDs, and there wasn't a real kids area from what I saw. The storytime room was cool, 3D printers were a nice bonus for it being a library, and the quiet area was something most libraries don't have so all these were nice to see
