Leaping Lizard Bakery

Visited for the first time today on a whim. Left with fresh made bread and cupcakes. Bread is fantastic but is only available Fridays and Tuesdays and, according to the employees, doesn’t last long. It’s definitely worth getting up early to get their jalapeño and Mediterranean sour dough loaves. Cupcakes are absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is eclectic and friendly. I will be going back to take my daughter to lunch for the soup and bread bowl.

Everything was a 10/10! Owners are super sweet, food is always amazing! You can grab and go breakfast! My personal fav is the tuna salad on a buttery croissant for lunch, and for dessert I love their angel food cake with berries and cream 🍰 please support this small town business! If you love sourdough they make it fresh!! I splurged and got a BIG loaf for my mom, bought lunch for her, my husband and myself, and we got to go desserts. DONT FORGET TO TIP 🩷 PARKING IS ON THE SIDE IN THE ALLEY 😀😀

I truly wish there were more stars to give on this review! We happenstanced on this bakery last week when we were looking for sweet treats for the our daughter’s ‘TWO Sweet’ birthday. From the time we walked through the door, we were met with the most amazing kindness and customer service! All the deserts in the showcase looked AMAZING and it was so hard to choose. We ended up ordering a smash cake, a dozen of the large cherry topped cupcakes and asked the owner (and baker) if she could make a big box of a variety of sweet treats. They were so kind and took on the task! When I tell you that these deserts were both BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS, it is truly an understatement. Stopped by Leaping Lizard bakery this morning and wow, I loved the place. They have a great selection of pastries, sourdough bread and coffees. The staff are super friendly and love to talk. I highly recommend visiting Leaping Lizard and check it out!

This small town bakery is a real gem. It's more than a bakery though because they serve breakfast and lunch foods. I hope the local community shows full support. I didn't have time for lunch but had the best coffee cake!
