Leal's Tamale Factory

We haven't been to Leal's in a very long time. But this day we decided to go. The food and salsa was awesome. We will be returning again. Highly recommend this place.

Love Leal's! Such a great local spot with delicious food, friendly and attentive staff, and options for vegetarians and vegans. We love the tamales (for vegan tamales, you need to put in an order 1 hr ahead, FYI) and the vegan enchilada plate. It is a small restaurant and at busy times there can be a wait (because it is so good).

We called and ordered a family pack and added a dozen green chili cheese tamales to be ready to pick up on 5/26 around 5:45pm. When we arrived to pick up our order, they were just throwing together the tacos so they would be as fresh as possible for us when we got home. Everything else was hot and ready. We got a dozen enchiladas (half beef and half chicken), and dozen tacos, a quart of rice and a quart of beans, two gallons of tea, and two salsas with two bags of chips. Everything was very delicious, but my favorites were definitely the tamales and the salsa. This was more than enough to feed eight people, and everyone loved the food. Great way to feed a large party for a great price. We will be back!

We eat here regularly and never had a bad experience. The food is pretty consistent and thats 1 of the good things about it. The service is great and goes good with there good food. If you are in the lubbock area stop by and try it out you won't regret it. 1/9/23 Same outcome very good service and food thank you Leals crew keep up the good work.

The food was really good. The server didn't check on us at all after dropping off our food. We could have used some refills. As far as the atmosphere, it was very hot inside. I'd hate to be there on a summer day. The tables also didn't look the cleanest.
