Breathtaking Beach. Good vibes. Lots of people just enjoying their day out here. Plenty of restrooms and tables. Grills. Sitting areas with grass and shady palms. Incredible views all the way around. Accessible via bike trail and plenty of parking otherwise.
Very nice beach, I saw pelicans flying there, early morning 😊
Was really interesting landscape in the tide pools. Lots of sea urchins and hermit crabs. Love the the huge tree with tons of cormorants. I'll post some pics of them along with the review. Lots of traffic to this beach and there wasn't as much wildlife as i expected but still very with the trip.
Just had an amazing paddle session at Leadbetter Beach in Santa Barbara! If you’re looking for that perfect intermediate spot with easy beach access, this is it. We brought our Pau Hana Endurance boards and had a blast paddling through glassy waters, spotting dolphins in the kelp forests. The views of the coastline are incredible, and being only 1.5 hours from LA makes it a perfect day trip. Great for fitness paddling or just enjoying nature, but definitely bring your PFD and some paddling experience - this isn’t a complete beginner spot. Location: Positioned north of the Marina, with East Beach to the south, Leadbetter Beach offers a quintessential Santa Barbara paddling experience. The beach provides stunning views of the entire coastline. Accessibility: Incredibly convenient parking,
Great place to kick back and take in the beautiful ocean and islands, go for a long walk, get wet, kayak, or sit and have a quick bite to eat and a drink. From here, you can take a nice long walk up along connecting Shoreline Park and get a better ocean view from the Mesa.
