Great scene and excellent service. As long as you’re expecting the prices, it’s a fantastic spot. We had the soup, the artichoke, the chicken, and the mussels, all really good. We skipped the tuna tartare this time but it’s always amazing. Gets very crowded, but definitely worth a visit.

With parts of our family being away from home, we decided to dine out on Christmas Eve. We have rarely made a better decision. Le Bilbo may not be classic French cuisine but everything we ordered was so perfect in taste and presentation, it was beyond expectation. Order a laissez faire cocktail and anything else, you won’t go wrong. Superb dining experience

The famous poulet Cajun was very good, as was the beef tartare and the dessert pavlova. Nice bags for to-go box if any leftovers and solid service. Would return.

First time. Liked the atmosphere, the crowd, the bread, liked the mussels -they were fresh, refreshing, filling. Service was earnest and had flourish. We ended the lunch with a crepe Suzette and that was a good little spectacle. All is well except the signature chicken. I would think a $44 signature chicken differs in some technique or flavour or presentation. This tastes and looks like prepacked chicken breast, seasoned with tasteless flavoring, and expertly sliced. We didn’t get as much sauce as in some other pictures I might have seen but that was not the dealbreaker. It was as juicy as a good supermarket chicken breast (aka dry) and the seasoning isn’t amazing (aka bland). I was quite disappointed with that. You can keep it for your own reasons I don’t know, but don’t call it your sig
