Lazeez Tava Fry

Another legendary Indian restaurant in Georgia which has stood the test of time. The crispy fried chicken is superb. Sometimes you feel you end up eating grease in fried chicken but these guys have perfected the recipe. All the other main dishes are brilliant and I love the fact that the food is not swimming in oil. The naan is freshly made and soft. I have noticed portion sizes have become slightly smaller over the years. The eat in place is never as busy as it used to be many years ago but still I wouldn’t turn down the opportunity to visit Lazeez.

To start with lady in the counter is kind of rude and food is not that great as well . Very disappointed with quality and quantity of the food for the price I payed ($30 for one entree and one appetizer). I expected my experience to be a little better. I order the chicken tandoori which is good actually and chicken darbari isnot that great. the sauce is ok ok with few chicken(4) and slices of one egg in it. Usually chicken entree come with side of rice in many restaurants, that is not the case for this restaurant. I personally don’t recommend this place. I gave one star just for tandoori

I wish I can give a 0 star. On uber eats it shows 15-20 mins estimate. When I got there, they said 50 mins to make the order and they haven’t started. The store owner lady told uber eats they accepted the order so they will not cancel it for me. My options are either paying $40 and leave to cancel or paying the $40 and wait $50 mins. The owner and his wife lie straight to my face. Telling me they haven’t made the food then tell uber eats they already started making so they cannot cancel it. Maybe the food is great but I guess I will never find out. Cause apparently you need to wait 50 mins in an empty restaurant for them to make some chicken curry.

When will you reopen? My family and really love the food and having been patrons for 13 years. My family is waiting for you all to reopen so we can come bring our family and friends.

Upgraded from 3 to 4 stars. Just look at this Bullet Naan! The Navratna Korma paired with this was a perfect delight. They nailed it. Proud to do business and I am encouraged to go more often now.
