Very good Lebanese food. Fairly new to lebanese/Arab foods, but sofar loving it and this place helps. Best plain Hummus iv ever had. I had to ask for more. The fattoush salad very refreshing. The main course was the platter with chicken beef and lamb kebab. Very well seasoned and tender. Finished off with a desert called Knafeh. A lightly sweetened cheese desert. Great service. The atmosphere is small and very decorated, but at times can feel abit busy. The owner came out and greeted us, great guy.
Layali Beirut is a hidden gem in Astoria! The food is incredibly delicious, with authentic Lebanese flavors. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming, making you feel like family. The hookah selection is impressive, with great taste and smooth smoke. Only drawbacks: prices are a bit steep, and they didn't have everything on the menu when we visited. Minor complaints, though - overall, a fantastic experience.
Hands down one of my favorite spots in Astoria! I’ve been here multiple times and it never disappoints. The restaurant is super clean, the service is always top-notch, and the staff is warm and welcoming every time. This time I got the mixed grill platter, fried chicken & Lamb Shank with their signature white and green sauces — 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Everything was bursting with flavor, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The sauces take it to the next level! Layali Beirut has officially become my go-to restaurant whenever I want a great meal or need to impress guests. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful food in a great atmosphere.
The food was good but terrible service. We barely saw the waiter. There was no water and we were really thirsty, but the waitress was chilling for herself in one of the couches. After a long wait, I asked one of the chefs who was passing by for water. They called the waitress to come over. When I asked for tap water she said they only have bottled water.
I was iffy at first coming here. But I gave it a shot anyway. The hookahs were good and the guy who made and served the hookahs was very nice. The hookahs were tasteful and greatly priced. Took us a little while to order because they only had 1 waitress. And the poor lady was on break so we didn’t want to interrupt. After ordering it took us a good 45 minutes to receive the entrees. Which wasn’t all that. I had the falafel sandwich with fries (dry). And my guests had the combo plate with meats and rice. Lamb chops were super small and was mostly fat on there. Bill was kind of high considering the size of the entrees. It is wheel chair accessible and kid friendly for the most part. The environment inside was clean & middle eastern themed which was pretty cool. Different than the rest of spo
