Lawton Public Library

I just visited the Lawton library and the wonderful staff made my visit marvelous! Karlie managed to help us several times, while simultaneously manning the front desk and scanning the library for others in need of assistance, all without making us feel like we were not being helped. She was friendly, informative, very professional! Afterwards, Dana, the notary Public available at the library, was able to assist us with very important documents, her warm smile and entertaining personality a welcome respite to a very busy and stressful day. We left smiling, our business concluded successfully, and in a better mood than when we went in. The only drawback was, now, I have to save up for a fantastic 3D printed articulated dragon to wear around my neck.

An amazing resource for the community. My son loves their play area and I love to see him playing with other kiddos his age. Librarians are the best.

The Lawton public library was pretty good and not too bad. There were only a few homeless in the premises.the Library had a wonderful selection of all types of mediA, computers to play Oregon Trail on... remeber Oregon Trail? Used to go to the public library when I was 9 years old to play Oregon Trail, not too bad, only died of dysentery a few times.

Lawton - Fort Sill is pretty chill & laid back. compared to the bigger cities in oklahoma;

We are so blessed to have such an amazing library in town! They have an amazing selection of books but they also have lots of household items that you can check out to try before you buy! If you haven’t used the online system I highly recommend asking a library staff member to show you how to use it. I reserve my books on my phone then just swing by to pick them up! When I have kiddos and don’t want to go in they also offer drive up service where they will bring your books to your car!
