Lava Lounge at Rainforest Cafe®

We stopped by Lava Lounge today, and the place immediately impressed us — a great restaurant with a huge line of people waiting. Our friends highly recommended it, and we can see why. We didn’t stay this time because the queue was really long, but we’ll definitely come back next week to try their food. Right next door is an amazing gift shop with stunning aquariums — honestly, we couldn’t take our eyes off them. Beautifully designed, super atmospheric, and worth visiting on its own. Lava Lounge had a very nice ambiance. We went on a Saturday, so the service was a little slow (either not enough staff OR just busier than usual). Quality of food was great, although temperature was warm (not hot). We had the Korean stir-fry (see picture) and the Jerk and Chicken and Shrimp pasta (see picture). The stir-fry had a nice spicky kick to it and you can see the portion size was ok (26.99, as of April 2025). The jerk and chicken/shrimp pasta was NOT spicy so those expecting spicy, this not your dish. The portion size was average (29.99 as of April 2025). There are cheaper places in Disney Springs springs unless you coming here for the ambiance, cost/services may be better/equally elsewhere

Well this place is the best for kids. There are storms and volcanoes erupting while you eat. Monkeys and elephants and all moving while you eat food that sucks. The food is a skip but the atmosphere was worth it. We will be back. Service is good and the crazy lava cake has 6 brownies and pudding and lots of sauce. It’s fun and looks like a great treat for the table.

We stopped in to grab a few quick drinks. The lava lounge is really just a lounge away from the big inside show. The bar wall glows red and the volcano erupts, but that's as fancy as it gets. Its a little on the pricey side, because not only are you paying Disney prices, but its also jacked up in price because of the Rainforest Cafe tag. We sat at the bar, so food and drinks were quick. We had the spicy lettuce chicken things. They were REALLY spicy.

Went here on a busy Tuesday night during Spring break. The wait was over 2 hours at Rainforest. We went to the Lava lounge and got the same menu without the wait. Our kids have seen the show before so we didn't care to sit in the restaurant. Gilbert sat us in a matter of minutes. He kept checking up on us even though we could see how busy he was. The total wait for a table was less than 5 minutes, and he came to us twice to ensure we were good. His level of service is awesome. The kids loved him. Tyler, our waiter, was just as welcoming and pleasant. He hit it off with the kids right away. Super cool and friendly. I can not say enough good things about them. They made our experience that much better. We sat outside and got to enjoy the fireworks from Disney and see all the boats in the wat
