Laurel Public Library

This is wonderful library. The staff are extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Over the years, they have helped us multiple times. It's a comfortable place to visit. We like that it is cat friendly with the resident cat.

This one of our second homes for my 2 sons and I. The laurel library has all the love and character of a small town library, while being one of the best stocked information centers in the area!! We love the staff!! Every member has taken the time the time to stop and chat and been so friendly. Special shout-out to the guys running the days who know me and my sons by name and don't even need a library card anymore. My favorite area for children in Laurel, there is sooooo much to do there for most ages. Puppets and stuffed friends, puzzles and games, a giant train set, Dinosaurs!!!!!!, and coloring supplies all within reach of most littles. This library was nice and cute with a wide selection of books. When I reached out to a librarian for help, he added smug and like I was bothering him. His attitude was so bad that I won’t be coming back to this library.

I got all three of my grandchildren library cards to the Laurel Public Library. It was an easy process. It makes me so happy that one of their favorite things to do is visit this little jewel of a library. The staff are friendly and helpful and know the kids by name. Grandson says: I can get my favorite book series here. If they don't have one of the books, the really nice librarian orders it from another library for free. I give this library five stars!

The kindest librarians we have ever met. Hard-working and very kid-friendly. Wish we were locals and could enjoy this community long-term!
