We live at the end of a road which is steeper than the Boon Buttery hill on Johnson rd. The county roads dept. Has left it uncleared. Here we are again with about 7 inches on the ground and according to the website they are closed. Our road is impassable. We are lucky there hasn't been any kind of emergency.

The roads are always in good shape. Quick to answer. Called about a tree down in the road and he was friendly and listened carefully. They do a good job maintains the road ways. I've done road work in other states and counties. They are awful compared to Laurel Co, KY.

I have had the worst experince in the last few months of this snow fall than ever before, I have called the road department 5 times back when we got the 16 inches to come plow my road and they never came...now with this recent snow ice we have gotten once again i have called to get my road plowed before it freezes and they dont even answer the phone, I am a heart patient needing to make it out to appts and cant get off my road..I pay taxes like everyone else does and get this kind of treatment. I have ranged a complaint with the mayor, I just hope HE does something with this department.
