Lauderdale Lakes Swimming Pool

Update: experienced this pool in person, and it is wonderful, especially for children and elderly or disabled. There is a ramp leading into the pool, with a surface underfoot that is designed for traction. No worries about falling while descending the ramp. Also for those that need it, a water wheelchair is available. (2/10/23- I got a photo showing the ramp; just added it to this review!) The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They consist of 4-5 lifeguards, so there’s an over abundance of safety in this setting. The water temperature was pleasant- slightly warm. Access to the facility is also totally wheelchair friendly. Love this place! Both of our boys take swimming lessons here and all the lifeguards are amazing! Very friendly, extremely attentive, and great with kids, adults, and those with disabilities. Again the ENTIRE staff is amazing but since our boys swim with coach Bob we have a little extra love for him! He is wonderful and very patient. Although patient, the coaches push them to become better swimmers.

Chris focuses on arms and getting heart rate up. Keeps the rhythm up at all times. He's one of our favorite coaches for water aerobics.

What can we say other than the place is great. This swimming pool is the perfect place to spend time with your family. There are also swimming lessons for beginners. In addition the team is really nice. It's up to you to try, you will not be disappointed..Get in the water now and enjoy it !!!

This is a very clean an great pool for a good swim. It is great for those competetive swimmers that needs practice off the blocks and starts. I will bring my son and daughter here to practice at some point in the very near futute.
