Las Tapatias Mexican Cafe

I've been cruising the Victoria Tex-Mex food scene for the best authentic dishes with real deep and complex flavors. Also for the best Menudo. This little pink hole-in-the-wall off the Port Lavaca highway definitely hits. While I ate the Menudo, heavy on meat and hominy (which is a great thing) the rest of our party perused the menu and devoured many delicious delicacies. (By the way... best refried beans) The waitstaff staff, 2 waitresses on a Thursday night, we're friendly and very attentive. Even the other parties enjoying their selves, were exceptionally delightful. Highly recommend for any time you want small, quaint, yummy, and fun in your eating experience.

The food was amazing. The service was the best. Our first time here and I think I did a pretty good job picking it out.

Wow food was absolutely delicious. I ordered chicken Fajitas and it was excellent! Food was also really fast. Oh and I love the salsa that comes with the chips. My daughter ordered kids menu - chicken nuggets with fries. And the fries were well fried although nuggets were a little greasy but not bad at all. Now we know where to visit when in Victoria, TX next time

10/10! This place is always so good. The people are always so friendly and sweet! Love going here! We travel a lot and anytime we go through Victoria, we have to stop here. The food is delicious. The aguas frescas are the bomb. The place is so cute and colorful. I wish they served the salsa warm! But other than that, I highly recommend this place simply based off of service. They’re truly so wonderful.

Y'all I really don't leave a whole lot of food reviews because I'm married to a chef. With that said, I've never bitten into a taco and started dancing 💃....until now!!! The barbacoa mini taco was THEE best!! It literally melted in my mouth!! My husband got the birria taco and an enchilada (which was also AMAZING)! Everything was delicious including the chips and refried beans, charro beans, sauces, etc. My son got a burger and a chorizo and egg taco, which was HUGE!! At this point, I'm trying to find reasons to go back to Victoria since we live out of town 😂 this place is a must when in the area!!
