Las Margaritas Avon

We decided to soak up the last of the beautiful weather with an outdoor meal at Las Margaritas, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by a friendly young man who led us to our table with a smile. Despite being located right off Detroit Road, the outdoor seating area was surprisingly peaceful. Colorful tables and chairs, umbrellas, and sun sails created a cheerful, shaded space that felt relaxed and welcoming. We started with peach margaritas and their homemade guacamole with chips. Came here for the Taco Tuesday and they have $2 tacos which are shredded beef, shredded chicken, and ground beef. All the tacos are good but the shredded beef is amazing! Very clean atmosphere, fast service, friendly staff! I will be back!!!

Went in for taco Tuesday to try the place out. Definitely won't be back. The taco specials are a joke. $2 tacos - beef or chicken, with lettuce and cheese. If thats not bad enough, you get maybe a quarter ounce of chicken with them. Also, their salsa tastes straight up like pizza sauce. I can go to any of the other local Mexican restaurant and get more choices of meats and toppings at a much better quality for maybe $1 more per taco. I would choose taco bell over these tacos. Bad experience.

First time here and we stopped in for the Tuesday $2 taco special. The deal comes with a few options — ground beef, shredded beef, or chicken, and you can get them hard or soft shell. I went with shredded beef and chicken on soft tacos. The shredded beef was excellent — super tender and flavorful. The chicken was just okay, so I’d stick with the shredded beef next time. Our server, Santos G, was a 5/5 — attentive, friendly, and absolutely on top of everything. The hostess, however, needs some real coaching. No greeting, no “how many in your party,” no acknowledgment when we walked in. And the host stand is the first impression of the restaurant — unfortunately, this was a flop.
