Las Delicias Glendale

Used to be a favorite for Mexican food but stopped coming here when we noticed a big change in the taste of our regular favorite dishes. This time, I have to admit, food was 👍 We ordered about 7 different menu items and only the Menudo was not gushed over. Everybody loved the (appetizer) Nachos Supreme. The Enchiladas, the Adobada, Tacos also got high marks. Why only 4⭐? Though service was ok and the server fine, I felt a little uncomfortable with my card/payment delayed, even if I had given it first but, had 2 of my other companions who gave their cards after me, processed first. Had I not remembered, it would have been a disaster and a personal security problem for me. Otherwise, a good lunch altogether.

Excellent restaurant weight staff is very attentive. Can be a little noisy inside, so we sat on the patio, which was great! Made me feel like I was on vacation in Cozumel. We really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.

I have been eating at Las Delicias since 1976 when it was only the small corner place at 19th and Logan with Roberto and someone else I never met, a counter and a few tables. The crispy rellenos are great, tacos al carbon are fabulous. I have had 100's of meals here and never had a bad one.

I would frequent this location at least weekly but after the last 2 experiences I’ve had, I will not be coming back. Staff/management intentionally separates certain customers from the main dining area. If the main dining room is seemingly empty yet you’re sat in the completely empty bar area, the service is horrible as staff acts as if you’re not even there - they do not want you there and do not want to serve you. I’ve been sat here my last 2 visits. Last time, wait staff did not come to the table until I had been there for 20 minutes and was getting up to leave. I gave them another chance this time and noticed the same thing. I watched as multiple customers came in (table faced a window in front of the front doors) and were seated in the main dining area, I was the only customer sat in

I absolutely love love this place. I have always only gotten one thing ever since I have been going here which has been prob about 20 years I think or at least it feels that way. Well last night I stop for a to go order, and stepped out of my comfort zone and ordered the large Menudo. It was very tasty. But the amount of the actual menudo to the broth/juice I was disappointed in. There was so much juice. Not enough of the Menudo. Im not disappointed in the taste just the amount of the actual food I got.
