Larry's Deli-Que

Larry's is the absolute BEST! The food is delicious and you can tell with every bite that love and care was one of the main ingredients. Holly, one of the owners, is so loving, nurturing and feels like everyone's long lost Aunt. She is a treasure. She will ensure that your visit is top notch. I would go back to Topsail just to visit Larry's. Their burgers are the best I've ever had! Let's not talk about the homemade lemonade and made from scratch desserts. Spectacular to say the least! A MUST VISIT when you're in the area!

This is a hidden jewel to anyone that is not on the island! The make homemade ice cream (36 flavors), cookies, cakes and the Hershey chocolate cake is sinfully good. I also had the chopped brisket sandwich (delicious). The staff and owners were so nice and friendly. The band I sing with (Carl Newton's Review) were playing at their restaurant this past Sunday. I ordered a Rueben sandwich to take home and it was delicious. This place is a must stop when you come to Topsail beach. I took a picture with one of the owners.

I didn’t really know what to expect when we opened the door, but my friend and I were greeted by the sweetest waitress ❤️ she was so helpful with the menu and giving recommendations. I tried the pulled pork grilled cheese and it was incredible! Literally didn’t need any extra sauce because the pork was cooked so well!! Also had fried okra as an appetizer and the sauce was chef’s kiss! Seriously, this was the best meal after a day at the beach!! We got to meet Mrs. Holly and she was so sweet!! Treated my friend and I to her delicious homemade ice cream for our birthdays!! This place is a gem!! Check it out if you’re ever in town!!

Larry's is a charming place with an even more charming staff. I visited in the off season, and it was busy, so I would imagine that on season, it could get quite hectic. The food I had was your typical local "hole-in-the wall" deli type food, but was definitely elevated by the love of the craft of cooking and care and attention to detail. I cannot wait to enjoy the BBQ that initially brought the location to my attention. The next time I visit Wilmington, will I make the 40 minute drive to Larry's? Absolutely. It immediately slotted into a comfort food and comfort atmosphere slot in my heart. Maybe it will yours too, if you're close by!

Good location, ready parking, good waitress and service. Atmosphere is ok, small family business with a bar and an outdoor sitting area. Food was just ok for a $23 + 20 % tip lunch meal ( Philly, fries, soft drinks k )..so , would i come back again or recommend for other's !! Will see..
