Laredo’s Mexican Grill

Quite different from the Laredos in Dickson, this one is more restaurant style, rather than a burrito bar. The menu was extensive with a wide variety. Food was delicious! Not your typical bland Mexican, this food has flavor, and if you want it, spice! We knew we were in for a treat when our order of cheese dip and the house salsa & chips arrived within a few seconds of being seated. The white cheese dip was hot, but having ordered the small portion, it cooled down much quicker than I'd have liked. It's a classic queso white cheese, very flavorful. The house salsa was VERY nice, while on the mild side, it had plenty of good flavor. A giant horchata arrived for my daughter. This place is lacking in so many areas. I've never got a correct order from here. Ordered fajitas and got fajita tacos ,whatever that even is, smothered in cheese. If there is a miscommunication at the counter please send your employees to school to learn English. Price for what I got was worse than their competitor which from what I gathered they were supposed to be cheaper. This restaurants ego is obviously inflated by small town people who don't know what good food is. Don't eat here.

Food was wonderful! Service was so great as well. We may drive 30 minutes just to come here again!

The service was excellent, staff was inviting immediately upon entry. The place smelled freshly cleaned and seating was plentiful. Now, let's talk food. The menu was vast, containing many options other places remain minified. My family and I were having a hard time deciding since there were options 😉. I ended up getting the 2 Chimichunga dinner( 1 chicken and 1 beef) with rice and beans, in this picture I forgot to take before consuming 3/4 of the beef which by the way was fantastic and don't get me started on the chicken 🤗 which was all white and well portioned meat! If you're looking for a good meal and great experience and service rivaling meals here in Charlotte this is the place!! It's okay, the food was good and the service was just okay. We went there to celebrate my son's birthday and they were supposed to bring a sombrero out and sing happy birthday to him. They brought the sombrero to the table and left. They were asked two or three times if they were going to come and sing and we kept waiting and waiting but they never came. After waiting 15 minutes or so we decided to sing to him instead. They were supposed to bring some whipped cream for us to smash in his face and it never arrived. I asked for some bags to carry my leftovers home in and never got them. And I asked for a cup to put some salsa in and I had to get it myself. Everyone was satisfied with the food but we won't be having any more birthday parties there. On a scale from 1 to 10, the food was a 7.
