Laredo Taco Company

I walked over to where they serve tacos. I could see the employees smoking through the back glass door, which is fine but when they walked back in, they didn’t wash their hands. It just made me not want to order food anymore. I am writing this review to make everyone aware that mouth to hand to food contact can cause foodborne illnesses. I will never get food from here. I hope yall don’t either for your health.

The beans taste nasty, like aluminum, they must come from a can. The bacon is usually burned. The potato with chorizo is usually empty. The tortillas are nasty, they taste like cardboard, they have no flavor otherwise. The big lady that prepares the tacos seems to always be in a bad mood. We usually stop here on our way to Livingston, for gas, breakfast tacos, and coffee. But the food is not great. We'll have to find a better place. Too bad the donut shop near there is closed on Sundays. I do NOT recommend this taco place!!

The prices are way too high for the amount and quality of food that you get. The tacos are small and dry and not very good but you pay 2 or 3 times what they are worth. That being said, the staff is always very friendly and helpful, absolutely no complaints about customer service. Keep up the good job guys! The food is just not all that great.

Last time I got tacos from here, I ordered two different tacos. Neither one was what I ordered. When I returned with them, I was told they were out of the two things that I ordered and that is why they randomly substituted two things I never ordered. I asked if I could get a refund, and was told they did not think so. I asked to speak to a manager, and when one was finally available she immediately refunded my money. I just dont understand why they thought it would be ok to just throw two random tacos in a bag and charge me for them. If they were out, why did they not say so, and I could pic something else.

I was very disappointed with the tacos. Tortillas were not warmed and the sausage and eggs were a bit cold. I let them sit in the bag as I went into Lowe’s to get some supplies and when I got back to eat, the cheese wasn’t even melted in the taco. Needless to say, my stomach didn’t take it well. Thought it might just be me but I ate the second taco with the same results. Never again. I would have been better off getting a bag of chips.
