Lapa Lapa Seafood & Drinks

The food was amazing!!! I live by the area and was intrigued by the unique name of the place: “Lapa Lapa.” I only ordered a lapa taco, just to try; however, it was delicious! It was also big enough to make me feel full and enjoy myself. I will definitely be coming back with my sons someday. Camila the server was super sweet and fast with her service. She came to my table to ask how I was often and made sure that everything was to the most optimal condition. Lovely young lady! Overall, my experience was amazing. It was super comfortable, and delightful. Everyone was super kind, including the chefs! I asked if I could personally send a message to the cook, and Camila was kind enough to oblige. More than once have they messed up my to go order. I call to let them know and all they say it that manager has to call the owner and see if he can replace it or give you credit. And that they will call you back. Do they ? NO! This time I order a lapa moncajete and I got a quarter of a cup of ceviche😂 LAST TIME WE ORDER FROM HERE! THERES OTHER SEAFOOD PLACES IN THE WESTSIDE

Really good seafood place! Quick service and a quaint, “in the neighborhood” type feel. Prices are VERY reasonable, bordering on cheap. Grilled fish fillet entree for less than $10 is a steal in my book. You also get complimentary chips/salsa. Our waitress also gave us little cups of the shrimp broth to try.

What a great little spot! Delicious, simple seafood dishes at excellent prices. With just 12 tables and 7 seats at the bar, they have created a light, pleasant, welcoming atmosphere with no fuss and great seafood. We had the large shrimp cocktail as an entree-- a dozen shrimp in a refreshing and flavorful gazpacho. We had the fish fillets "a la plancha" for our other entree, which was perfectly prepared and served with a simple white rice and fresh letttuce and tomato salad. The tiny mugs of seafood consomme were a nice touch, and paired especially well with the fillets. The server was super nice and just attentive enough without being intrusive. A delicious, fresh seafood lunch for not much more than McDonald's combo meals! A rare find-- visit if you can!

The seafood was good and the service was nice. We ordered the fish ceviche, green aguachiles, lapa tacos, red snapper, a side of fries, shrimp chile con queso and beer tempura fish tacos. Standouts were the lapa tacos (shrimp) and the fish ceviche. They offer beer and soft drinks as you would expect. Parking lot is tiny, but the place, including the restrooms were nice and clean. If you're a seafood lover, definitely check them out.
