Laoban Dumplings

This was my first time here; I was looking for something warm and homey to combat the cooling weather and I am glad I stumbled upon this spot. I had the pork soup dumplings, and for the price, was granted a good and satisfying portion. It was delicious and it definitely tasted fresh from the kitchen. There were also its own dedicated set of tables and chairs, so that atmosphere felt rather authentic- albeit cramped. Nevertheless, definitely coming back if I’m craving for something light and warm.

With this cute little place being in a food market there isn't a lot of room but the food and service are amazing!! It was so good as one of my first experiences with soup dumplings. Had bad ones before and Georgian ones the other day but these were exactly what I wanted. Will definitely make a trip back here just for the dumplings!!

I enjoyed the sesame chicken steamed bao bun. It was well spiced, the service was great, and the ambience was fun! Highly recommend as a light snack as you break up your explorations at Union Market ! 🥟❤️

I wanted some light and on the healthier side while in Union market so opted for the living on the vedge dumplings and funky drunky veggies. Delicious guilt free lunch under $20

The sesame chicken bao bun was fantastic. We also loved the chicken and ginger dumplings and the chicken soup dumplings. Delicious hot food perfect for a cold day. Patrick was so friendly and gave us great customer service. We’ll be back to see him.
