Lao Sze Chuan

The food here is truly amazing. I went here with a large group of friends and the lazy susan tables are so fun. It’s really easy to share food and I would definitely recommend getting as much as you can so you can share and try as many different dishes because everything here is absolutely delicious. The duck was my favorite but all of the soups had such a good flavor I just couldn’t get enough. I’ve never had anything like this.

I have been this restaurant two times and had a wonderful dining experience on last Friday. Amazing and delicious restaurant with Peking Duck in DMV. The server Jay was very attentive and friendly, caring, wend above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made suggestions on food options. Absolutely give him 5-Star👍👍👍. Our experience was outstanding satisfied.

I selected this restaurant because of its reputation for good food and a pleasant atmosphere and booked it to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday with her parents. The ambiance is indeed nice, so credit where it’s due. Unfortunately, the service made the evening memorable for all the wrong reasons. Our server a tall Asian man with dark grayish hair seemed to be in a remarkable hurry from the moment we sat down. Despite politely asking for a few extra minutes to review the menu (multiple times), he returned every couple of minutes as if we were participating in some sort of speed-ordering challenge. We have been eaten here multiple times since it was opened, and we are always satisfied with the food here. We’ve tried probably half of the menu, and everything tastes good so far. Lao Sze Chuan has the BEST Peking Duck in this area, no competitors, period (although it’s not 100% authentic, but this is the closet you can find in DMV) This place is one of the few places that provide authentic Szechuan flavor in DMV, but with the best atmosphere and dining environment. The food can be really spicy so be careful of what to order if you don’t eat spicy. I also got a birthday cake when celebrating my bday here and it was delicious!

Went there for dinner. Food is great. Our server, Mike, is awesome. Very attentive and provided vey good suggestions to complement the whole Peking duck. Will definitely be back.
