Somehow Coral Springs has become a home for multiple soup dumpling spots, and I’m absolutely here for it. Lao Hu Tong’s rendition of soup dumplings brings flavor and excellent wrappings. Tried the pork truffle soup dumplings, they were nice and savory with a sauce on the side to provide some bite. The other dishes on this visit were also solid choices. The shrimp pot stickers come in a sheet of crispy, crunchy fried goodness. The vegetable stir fried noodles had a nice chew and plenty of veggies. Added freshness to the meal with a side of the spicy cucumbers. They had a savory yet spiced sauce that goes well with the fresh cucumber slices. Tried the chocolate buns for dessert. They were definitely creative but I’m not sure if I’d get those again. Service is friendly and the restaurant

Honestly pretty good. Decided to try this place out. It opened late last year, taking the spot of a former Italian restaurant. Got a spicy braised beef noodle soup and pork soup dumplings. The noodle soup was mild and not too spicy. I've told it was too spicy beforehand and alot of customer couldn't take the heat 😆. I still enjoyed it though. The real star of the show is the soup dumplings. Comes a small dish of ginger vinegar. They're made fresh to order; there's a window section where you can watch them make it. These dumplings are well seasoned, they're got a good amount of meat filling and soup. I would back for the dumplings alone. I highly recommend this place.

5 stars for a Coral Springs restaurant…who would have thought? Seems random to find a terrific dumpling spot that’s not in the hustle and bustle of a city! What a great find. We were skeptical, but braved the drive out west, and whoa!! we are happy we did. For two of us, we ordered the combo soup dumplings, fried bao buns, bok choy, Dan Dan noodles, wonton soup, chicken wings, cucumbers, custard buns, and chocolate buns. Oh, yeah, and for dessert, another order of the combo soup dumplings. Everything was delish. We were told that we were ordering too much, but they did not realize our abilities! The dumplings’ skins were thin, but sturdy. Not thick and chewy! The broth - outstanding! The buns were so light and fluffy, they melted in my mouth!! Fried chicken wings - sweet, spicy, & sticky

The food here is seriously amazing. I honestly think I might like it even more than Din Tai Fung, and the prices are way better for what you get. The fresh dan dan and jjajang noodles were so flavorful and comforting. You can really taste that they’re made fresh. The fried bao bun is my absolute favorite. And the duck? Perfect. Super crispy skin but still moist and juicy at the same time. Portion sizes are generous, everything came out hot, quick, and I enjoyed every single dish I ordered. This is officially my new go-to spot, and I already can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Lao Hu Tong in Coral Springs is an awesome spot if you’re craving bold, flavorful, authentic Chinese dishes. Everything tastes fresh, and the portions are generous without feeling heavy. The menu has a lot of options you don’t always see elsewhere. The staff is friendly and keeps the service quick. It’s definitely a go-to if you want something tasty and a little different from the usual takeout. Instagram - @thesofloduo
