I stopped by the Langley-Adams Library today for a quick visit and a trip down memory lane. It's a cozy library, aging gracefully, and permeated with the smell of good books. The last time I visited this library was about 35 years ago when my grandmother and I would walk down here from her house. I would race into the children's section to find my favorite books, the Rupert Oliver Dinosaur Lib series. Sitting crosslegged on the floor reading about dinosaurs for what seemed like hours before walking down to the Merrimack with my Nana is a vivid memory of childhood happiness for me. Those books were long gone, but I just had to check. In their place were many other books ready to inspire wonder and happiness in other children.
