The hub and I absolutely loved the seafood & tasso fettuccine and the sautéed Seafood Platter with Red fish. Our entrees included the salad bar as well. We were hoping to try the seafood buffet but it's only offered on Fridays & Saturdays, so we'll have to catch it next time. But...he tried Tabasco for thr first time!!
Food wasn’t good. I ordered a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo. It was very greasy and taste like grease. I don’t even finish it. The salad bar was also disappointing. The items looked fresh but they were warm not really cold. Beside the back room with a bunch of ladies playing cards; there was 1 older couple besides myself in the whole restaurant. This was 6:30 pm on Wednesday. I asked why there want anyone in the restaurant the employees said they are really busy on Fridays when they have a band and seafood. All of the employees are really nice; just the food quality has really gone down since they first opened up in that location. Overall the restaurant is kinda old and dumpy looking. They keep it pretty dark in there. Looking at the ceiling you can see mold from water leaks
Our waitress Jordan was amazing! She handled a large table with 20+ people who were drinking hand for hand and never missed a beat. She was incredibly attentive!
First time trying this place as we were visiting. The food was phenomenal, and it was fun having the band and watching everyone dance. Also if you stop by pick up some of that Cajun seasoning, it’s great!
Oh man... I REALLY hope anyone coming down here doesn't think this is real cajun food. My husband and I recently ate there for the Friday seafood buffet and we were so underwhelmed. The fried shrimp was freezer section from the grocery store from a box quality, the green beans had this weird sweet taste, the I guess maybe possibly "jambalaya" rice tasted like waaaaayyyy over cooked gross tomato sauce rice, the catfish couvillion was just terrible, bland, mushy weird tasting fish, terrible gravy that had a weird sweetness to it, and the shrimp fettuccine was bland and good luck finding some "shrimp"... it was such a bad experience. I really feel that someone from another state could've represented our food better. If you are from out of state and want good cajun food, please don't go here!
