Landmark Inn

Positive: Nothing!!! Furniture was old and smelled like mildew. Bed coverings were old and faded and the room smelled terrible! It needs remodeling right away! Negative: I did not like anything about this Hotel! No phones in the rooms and dirty carpet!

I gave this place the benefit of doubt, reading reviews with an open mind, we were desperate for a place to stay. I was hesitant to read about bed bugs, so we decided to proceed with a thorough check of the room. It was disgusting! Big red stain on the carpet (after they supposedly just deep cleaned), smell of musky mildew, everything was damaged, old, and stained. The manager at the desk seemed friendly and helpful until we came back from running out for coffee to learn our personal items have been packed and brought to the office. Staff went in our room as soon as we left to snoop through our things and steal! A couple personal belongings are missing and we never got our food back from the fridge. She went on with an elaborate story of how they found drugs in our room and were kicking us

We had a family reunion here last week and the staff was amazing. Shout out to CJ for checking my family members in on time. It was a lot of us so I know it was rough. Thank you to the cleaning staff who created drop points for clean and dirty towels. The rates are reasonable and the location is perfect (hwys restaurants Walmart and shoneys!) the rooms are older but they were clean and comfortable.

It is not a 5 star hotel but I was looking for a decent night's sleep at a fairly quiet place near the next track I campout and race at at a decent rate and found it in this former convention type hotel that has certainly seen better haydays in past years. But, the room though dated, was clean, bed comfortable, refrigerator, micro, A/C and TV that work, lotsa fresh plush towels and fairly safe for and plenty of rig pkg., and at a great rate I caught up on much needed sleep, took a shower or 3 whenever I wanted (plenty of hot water), and may even stay a day longer before the 3 day race at these comfortable rates.

We came in to town to help a friend, we came during the drag races, so every hotel between Florence and Hartsville was fully booked for the weekend because of the race. We were lucky enough to get a room here, but the rooms are questionable. Accommodating and friendly staff. Glad we didn't see any bugs, older style inn, but some rooms could use a deep cleaning (there is food and trash behind the TV stands etc) a handheld shampooer could be used on some of the chairs, clean the webs out of the curtains near window etc.....
