Good service and delicious food. I had a blt and a hummus plate that was delicious. My husband had the pork belly salad and it was fabulous. My sister had the nachos grande that was huge.
We had no expectations the first time we came but were pleasantly surprised. It’s now a part of our regular routine. Every time we come here we have great food, drinks, and service. Shauntael and John always do an amazing job.
I love the bartenders that work on Friday. They are hilarious and very quick to get your order. The food is really good here too. My only problem with this place is that touchtunes is blocked by the management most of the times I have visited. Power to the people! Let us play music! Other than that this is a great place to eat and catch a drink
Stopped in off I-5 again for hearty house made clam chowder, poppers, and a great western burger. Really good food. The menu has tasty, generous servings and friendly staff. Priced fair- clean bathrooms. The western burger is yummy and the fish tacos are amazing. Loved the poppers. The menu is extensive. The front is a small cafe-- the back a bar. I suggest you walk the town and view the buildings architectural features and be sure to turn the corners. In Oakland, antique stores are worth a visit, so is lunch.
This restaurant is in a beautiful, old, restored building with a ton of charm. The town is a couple miles from I-5 and was a very welcome site after hours of dodging raindrops on the freeway. The crispy chicken sandwich and fries were delicious and the service was excellent!!! For me it was a quick stop so I could get back on the road but the restaurant and town deserve a revisit when I have more time to enjoy them!
