Lake Effect Cafe

Unfortunately encountered a very rude barista who actively rolled her eyes when I ordered a black coffee. It shouldn’t matter if it’s as something as simple as a plain coffee, or as extensive as some of these orders can get- it was quite unprofessional and left a poor lasting impression.

So welcoming to come there! I love the events they hold there, especially the poetry nights on Thursday! A little pricey but it's also Starbucks so it's expected.

Easy to get to on campus spot for a great crafted coffee / non coffee beverages . They serve Starbucks drinks. They have plenty of grab and go food and sweet options. Plenty of tables , WiFi and a microwave for reheating . Next to the campus library !

A Starbucks affiliate cafe, they serve many Starbucks drinks typically found at an actual store. Also serves baked goods, Naked Juices and Pure Leaf Teas sandwiches, wraps, salads, microwavable entrees, sides, and sushi. Staff is friendly and helpful, though this place can get very busy midday and between classes. Typically a quiet and cozy place to study and meet with others as well. Also, if you pay with Laker Dining Dollars, you do not have to pay tax, which is nice, as items can get pricey. Best cafe on-campus for sure.

I only ever get coffee, but it is quite nice. I've never been disappointed, the workers are very nice too.
