Came here for Iftar (dinner during Ramadan) and had such a beautiful experience. It wasn’t too busy, which made it even more enjoyable and relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is so cute and aesthetic, perfect for a cozy dinner. We ordered the Fattoush salad and it came in the most unique presentation served inside a round, puffed pita dome that looks almost like a little pumpkin. You crack it open and the crispy shell breaks apart to reveal the fresh salad inside. It’s topped with pomegranate seeds and drizzled with molasses, adding the perfect sweet and tangy touch. Such a fun and delicious presentation. For appetizers, we got the kibbeh, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had. I’m usually very picky with kibbeh, but this one was perfectly

Absolutely loved the food and ambiance! The fatoush salad was amazing and one of the best starters / salad I’ve had in a long time. The dips was another great starter. Can’t go wrong with a mixed grill either!

Amazing Syrian food!!!! We LOVED everything about Laila! The interior space is really nice — we sat by the window and enjoyed soaking up the sun after coming in from the winter cold. Each dish was so colorful, so fresh, and delicious. No misses!!!! Service was also great! Our server provided great recommendations. Laila is definitely one of our new favorite in NYC!!!! Next time we’d love to come at dinner to see the belly dance.

Fantastic food. Great service. Nice vibe. The Kufta is the best I’ve ever had, and I’m from Montreal, we have some of the best middle eastern food. Also, the staff is wonderful. So warm and inviting, and they gave great guidance. If I lived here, I would definitely become a regular.

This was our first visit and it was delightful. The archive was wonderful, did was amazing. We had the Laila combo for the appetizer, delicious. I had the Fattet Makdous for my entree. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was so good. I filled up quite a bit on the appetizer because they give you big portions. I was glad I get to take some home for later. 10/10 will definitely be back.
