Labrar Coffee

FIVE STARS – Every city and town needs at least one FIVE STAR coffee shop with great baked goods and more. We were delighted to discover LaBrar Coffee during a recent weekend outing to Goldsboro, NC, home of Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. The shop is easy to find in the newly renovated historic downtown district at 141 North Center Street, just two blocks from the city’s traffic circle. In addition to the wonderful cortados and baked goods, we enjoyed a relaxing walk up and down Center Street, taking in the charm and energy of this beautifully revitalized downtown.

I usually love Labrars for their prices and the usual excellent quality of food and coffee they serve. Other than the long waits during morning rush, even if you place an online order 20-30 mins in advance, you have to wait around 15-20 mins due to the amount of people that there is in the morning, or missing chips, which had happened several time, I never had any issues with food quality, until today. I placed an online order about 20 mins before getting there and then I had to wait around 15 mins till get to the cash register, I was glad my food was ready by then and left. I got to my job and started eating my sandwich and this (image attached) came out of it. At first I was going to swallow it because I thought it was idk the cheese or the bun that was feeling a bit funny in my mouth,

Awesome espresso drinks! My husband‘s chocolate Cortado was prepared perfectly as was my specialty drink that they call grandma‘s dirty hot chocolate. Everybody was friendly and the atmosphere is excellent with an option for outdoor seating. Thank you, Labrar!

Labrar's coffee and baked goods are such an asset to downtown. They are so thoughtful with the products they sell and the staff members are always pleasant. Ordering is so easy in person, online, or via text. I love working close enough to walk here and grab a latte with a sweet treat! Their sandwiches are delicious also!

Good coffee, and I had a chia pudding with fruit that was OK. I am giving a 3 for the service because it took too long for me to get the coffee (the pudding was already made). Too crowded on a Saturday morning (and I am not fan of crowds), that’s why I am giving a 3, but it was pretty much like a family/friends place. Seems like the space is small for all the people that I were there, not sure if it is the same within the week.
