La Vera Pizzeria

The places was clean and the gentleman at the counter was welcoming, I ordered a large pizza with half cheese and the other half pepperoni and some fries and they food came out cooked good and it tasted delicious. I would recommend this if you’re in the Virginia Beach area!

Pregnancy has me craving pizza. This is the place to be. Best on the ocean front if you ask me 😊 definitely went above and beyond for customers. The place is clean, comfortable, family friendly, not to mention everything is made FRESH to order. Did I forget to mention they have the best prices. Awesome!!! I love it here.

The closest thing to NYC pizza I have found south of NYC! We had the chicken florentine white pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Both were 5 out of 5 stars. The white pie was buttery and the pepperoni was just like it should be! Both owners were there and incredibly kind and friendly. The decor is classic pizza joint...because it's a block from the beach it's a bit Surfer Chad and a bit Uncle Vito...which are both cool dudes! Skip all the frozen stuff on the boardwalk! Walk your suntanned body one block over to La Vera's for the best pie south of the Brooklyn!

This place deserves 5 stars for the absolute best pizzas and salads. We shared an awesome Greek salad, which was loaded with feta, tomatoes, and onions with a zesty, flavorful dressing. Our friend got the antipasto salad that was overloaded with ham, pepperoni, pepperoncini, and olives that he raved about. The large Supreme pizza was perfection in every bite. The crust was crisp and tasted more like authentic new York pizzas. The owner was there and he made the pizza and served us as he noted it was the off-season, and we were thrilled at how delicious the food was. The place was not fancy, but it feels like a true NYC pizzeria. We all highly recommend this place.
