La Tuyera

The food was heavenly! Authentic Venezuelan cuisine! We had Arepas…both cheese and the La Tuyera. The owners, Immer and Antonieta were genuinely kind, friendly, and hospitable, it really made for a pleasant experience! The food truck is tucked away in a corner with several picnic tables, patio lights, and large shade trees to make for a comfortable atmosphere! We highly recommend this establishment and will definitely be back!

My wife and I had driven to Miami, FL for spring break to escape the cold and the recent snowstorm that had just hit Verona, WI. After two days of driving through snow storms and heavy rain and spending a night sleeping in the truck at a Cracker Barrel just outside Chattanooga, TN, we finally made it to South Florida. We had just arrived to the area and it was a bit late. We were driving through Homestead, FL. We were hungry looking for something to eat. We saw an open food stand serving Venezuelan food. My wife being Venezuelan, and my favorite food being a Cachapa, we hooked a u-turn and headed back to the food stand. This is my 3rd time coming and I can’t get enough. Cachapa is the way to go for me. So delicious and warm. The meat juicy and tender I recommend the carne Vara so good. I can’t wait to try something different next time I come.

I’ve gone twice so far and both times have been amazing. As soon as I arrive I’m getting attended sparing no second to try to comfort us customers. They were sweet and respectful, also they were very interactive striking conversation to make me feel more at home giving a pleasurable atmosphere. The food was more than extraordinary, it was well cooked, made to my preference, and cooked fast. They wasted no time in giving me the best dining experience possible. I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking to get a quick dine in but also enjoy their meal, 10/10 experience.
