Customer Reviews
This place has a nice cozy vibe, so intimate that you can even see your food being made in the kitchen from some tables. Definitely a great place to go solo or on a date but probably not for larger parties. I ordered the carne asada fajitas but wasn’t impressed. They were too chewy for my liking. The tortillas, warm, thick, and with a nice texture, helped make up for it. Also, $20 for all that food is pretty solid. The service and atmosphere were good enough that I’ll definitely be here again to order something else! I’m grateful to have great places like this so close by.
Love love love!!! We loved everything here from the warm greeting when we walked in to the vibe and the tasty food. It’s so so good! I ordered the birria stew and it was delicious!! They slow cook the beef for 9 hours. And put avocado on top. It is served with fresh tortillas. Could not have been better!! My bf got the spicy shrimp and it was equally as great. Really want to try their mole next time.
After a morning hike in Muri Woods in chilly light rain, our craving for something warm and hearty was more than satisfied at this seemingly inconspicuous tiny restaurant. Our table of four ordered seafood tacos, fish plate, and pozole rojo with rice and black beans to share, and they were all very tasty with the just right balance of flavors. The price was also very reasonable, especially given its location (Nob Hill SF). It’s that type of simple, down-to-earth neighborhood restaurants that are by no means fancy but earn a spot in your memory。
This place has fantastic Birria Tacos and guacamole. Came here for dinner and it was a cosy hole-in-the wall spot with lovely service and fast but delicious food. Waitress was really sweet and explained the menu to me. Food rivals what you’ll get in Latin America. Authentic and homely. Will visit again - support small business!
The food was tasty and delicious and felt really authentic. I also appreciated the staff that helped me understand the menu ;)
