La Tortuga is honestly a hidden gem 💎 — one of those places you don’t expect but end up loving every time. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with care, and the service makes you feel welcome like a regular even if it’s your first visit. Their La Tortuga Cubana is amazing — packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and easily one of the best Cuban-style sandwiches with a twist I’ve had. Every time I’m heading up the coast, I make sure I never miss this place. It’s become a must-stop for me because the quality is consistent and the vibe is just right. If you’re passing through and want an incredible meal at a spot that feels special and underrated, La Tortuga is the place to go.
Huge menu with very filling plates! The waitresses were super attentive and our food came out quickly, even though it was pretty busy around 1 pm on a Monday. I tried the Caldo 7 Mares and the Molcajete Oaxaqueño — both were absolutely delicious! I’ve also had their Coffee Cake and it’s a 10/10 — so moist and full of flavor. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re ever in the Seaside area!
Tonight my house mate and I decided to try this highly recommended restaurant. I look forward to eating here again. The food was delicious, fresh and the portions were large! The employees were all nice and friendly. The nachos were great and my Cuban sandwich was packed full of meat! I left fat and happy!!! Thank you!
The food was mostly amazing! The Huarache was amazing; I've never enjoyed nopales so much! The ceviche was really special. The gordita was mediocre, dry, needed salt. The service was exceptional. I like the ambiance but it's super basic and not meant to impress.
Was in town and seen thier food on tiktok decided to try it out! Definitely worth it! They even sold deserts inside which were also delicious! And their customers service was also excellent! I got the cuban torta to go and it was delicious as expected! Only thing i regretted was not dinning in because it would of made it better! Definitely coming back when im in town again!
