La Taquiza Taqueria Centro(E Main St)

I’ve lived in Lexington my whole life and this place was such a hidden gem!! The quality of the food, the service, and the decor was fantastic! Our waitress Emily was so phenomenal and I was so impressed by how she connected with her customers. I will be back!! 10/10 experience. #askforemily

I love the food here. Literally some of the freshest dishes in town, gorgeous to look at, great taste. The serving sizes are fair-to-generous. The street corn is probably the best I've had anywhere. Downsides: service is generally very friendly but weirdly slow. Also for some reason I don't understand, they serve a lot of the food on tiny flat platters with no rim; bits of the dish end up everywhere, and the napkins are a little limited. That said the place is quite clean. So: some quirks for sure but the spectacular food and friendly service make up for it. Highly recommend.

Food was delicious and authentic- Service was great and it was decorated authentically also. Great little place, definitely will eat there again!

This place has great style, and the service was great. There are a lot of menu options, and I liked that they had a nice selection of vegetarian and seafood options. The food was good (empanadas, enchiladas, fish tacos, guacamole, rice, and beans) but could use a bit more seasoning.

We took my daughter and her fiance to celebrate his promotion at work, and we could not have picked a better place to eat. First of all, the food was amazing and delicious. Secondly, the staff was awesome and helped us celebrate. I love the people who work there. Lastly, they have a great atmosphere and an extensive salsa bar with fresh chips. The portions are extremely generous, so I often just get a single taco. That runs me about $4.50 to $6, making it very afforabke to go out. My family gets bigger dishes that runs between $10 and $15. Most of them take food home with them. This is a very afforable place to eat.
