La Tamaleria Colombiana NJ Elizabeth

Food was great! Tamales like in Tolima! Big portions. We got morcilla, empanadas, tacos and criolla sasuage and cheese. Great service, server was very attentive. My family enjoyed the food. Parking on the street, not difficult to find today. Definitely recommended!

It’s been a long time since I’ve felt like I was in Colombia. Not only does this restaurant provide authentic food that unlocks old memories, but it also transports you back to the feeling of a typical Colombian restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. The “rana” machines are a huge plus. The combination of delicious food and the warm atmosphere makes this an amazing spot for all Colombians who have left their country. I 100% recommend this place.

La Tamaleria Colombiana is an underrated gem, and their chicharrón ceviche is hands down one of the best things on the menu. It’s not your typical ceviche -no seafood here- just perfectly crispy pork belly soaked in a sweet/citrusy, zesty marinade that cuts through the richness and makes every bite addictively bright. The service is very fast paced and friendly, high quality with a strong focus on customer experience. I absolutely love the atmosphere as well. I would love to come back here soon!

Milena was spectacular and so professional! I got the bandeja paisa it was so good and big! I can’t wait to come back.

Our waitres Diana was so nice and quick with the rounds. The food was amazing. My husband is columbian and he recommended this restaurant. We came all.the way from Reading, P.A just to eat here, 10/10
