We went late at night and were surprised they still had food. I got a cannoli and this chocolate cheesecake thing that just looked really pretty. The cannoli was filled with like a whipped cream filling rather than the usual ricotta so that was not exactly what I wanted. But that chocolate cheesecake thing was PHENOMENAL! I didn't even know what it was when I ordered it, I just thought it looked delicious and boy was it! Creamy and rich and delicious.
One of East Boston’s old-school Colombian bakeries. Stopped by on a Saturday morning for some light bites. Maverick Square has a good number of Colombian spots, but this one felt especially beloved by locals. Packed even at 7 a.m., though the line moved quickly. I wasn’t a big fan of the figs, but the custard was phenomenal, and I will absolutely be heading back for the guava and cheese croissants. Again, I never would’ve thought to put coconut on it but wow that was so delicious.
