La Siesta North

This place was horrible. Service was slow. Our server was rude. Anytime we tried to ask a question he didnt have time to answer. Then I ordered the Specialty chicken chimichanga NOT the lunch special. When I got my food the portion was smaller even than any lunch special at a Mexican restaurant ive ever seen. I tried to talk to the manager when I went to pay to ask what the difference was between the specialty chimichanga and the lunch special. He got angry and argued with me and said that I should have gotten the grande burrito if I wanted something bigger. Told me hed take 3 dollars off. He was rude and unapologetic for our terrible experience. Mexican food is my families favorite so we patronize all of the different restaurants here in como and we love to support local businesses. L

I had a wonderful evening with co-workers until it came time to pay the bill. There was a misunderstanding regarding one of the tabs and the hostess got worked up and said repeatedly she would call the police if that tab wasn't paid. I called my co-worker, she returned and paid. It ruined an otherwise enjoyable evening over something that was easily remedied. I did not appreciate the repeated threats that she would call the police. The hostess, an older woman, requires training in customer service because she could have easily addressed it for what it was; a simple mistake. I have dined here several times over the years with co-workers to unwind so it's a shame this experience has soured my entire view on this restaurant. The menu selection is good. Service was slow. Tacos were skimpy on the filling and the beer was warm.

We always get the double order of fajitas. They always come out hot & fresh. The tomatoes could have been cut smaller. The salsa is always good. The rice & beans are almost always perfect. Service is always quick. The prices have gone up since our last visit. We like this location & eat here multiple times a year.

Portions were a tad smaller compared to other local Mexican restaurants. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. The staff and service was wonderful!
