Wepa!!! Mi gente... This place is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’ve been transported straight to Puerto Rico. The decor is beautiful and full of culture, with murals, flags, music, and details everywhere that truly celebrate the island. You can tell a lot of love and pride went into creating this space. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and family-friendly, with a great mix of traditional and modern vibes. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, relax, and really enjoy the experience, not just the food. Everything felt authentic, from the setup to the energy of the staff. My wife and I went for a birthday party. We both LOVE Chuleta Kan Kan from our trip to Puerto Rico. The Chuleta Kan Kan with arroz con gandules and maduros was delicious. If you are hungry for some authentic latin food, this is the place to go!!!

As soon as we were sat the customer service was great! The cafecito was delicious and so was the food that came after! We ordered gallo pinto tico, mofongo-carne frita, tacos, tostones, arroz con gandules...all delicious and made traditional to PR. We also tasted the helado de coco--tasted homemade! With the good food and the PR music that played in the background...highly recommend!

The food was really good, my mofongo was on point. Loved the atmosphere with salsa music playing. And the service was great! We are definitely coming back soon ♥️🇵🇷

I came to La Sensación Latina PR for the first time. I’m visiting Mt. Pleasant for work and came from Charlotte, NC. I’m Puerto Rican and was craving Latin food. While searching on Google, I found this shining star from Puerto Rico. The food was delicious and truly authentic Puerto Rican. I ordered rice and beans with fried pork, a green salad, a slice of avocado, and of course a side of mofongo. I loved that they have Kola Champagne India from Mayagüez. For dessert, I had a vanilla flan. The service was excellent and the prices are very affordable. I don’t think the few low-star reviews are fair, because this restaurant is exquisite. I hope to come back soon!
