La Regia Tacos y Gorditas

The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was full of authentic Mexican flavor. We were served quickly and the staff gave us excellent attention throughout our visit. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again.

I came here with my mom for the first time after my sister recommended it to us. I ordered the Sincronisada. My mom ordered the gorditas. The food came out quickly. I could tell it was cooked to order. We loved our food. Loved the service. The restaurant is clean. Will come again, for sure.

Best Mexican restaurant in town for sure! All the ingredients are cooked so well! I definitely have to visit this restaurant again and try a new dish!

Great food we bought some plates of gorditas with rice and salad and a drink for a really good price. Really friendly employees always making sure your happy with what you ordered. Keep up the good work guys.

I rarely frequent Weslaco, thereby I don’t eat at this city’s restaurants. However, due to weather conditions, I was passing by and said to myself, “geez, maybe some good Mexican food would hit the spot right now.” That’s when I saw, “La regia Tacos and gorditas.” As someone whose parents are from Monterrey, memories of my mother’s cooking came back to me. Sadly, unlike my mother’s extraordinary cooking and love, this place took 10 minutes to take our orders. It took another 15 minutes to bring us coffee (which we needed to request), but hey, there was a previous customer’s coffee cup on our table. We then waited 40 minutes. Horrible experience!!! The food as decent (the tacos de vapor de chicharrón prensado were good).!!!!
