La Perla Restaurant Bar

I ordered food online and picked it up. It helps if you know spanish considering its a spanish restaurant and the menu is in spanish. I really just wanted pupusas but ordered 4 other items to try it out. I drove home opened the food and there were no pupusas.... I called the restaurant to tell them and they said they would refund me. I would have appreciated them letting me know it wasn't made prior to coming home. After ordering online a couple minutes it was marked ready for pick up but it wasn't when I walked in. It took another 15 minutes to be ready. The restaurant inside looks like it has potential to be nice but seems more like it would be a club at night with options to have snacks with a decent bar and potential for a cool hang out spot on their back deck if there more tables and

While the food is pretty good, we have issues. First the bathrooms are nasty. Also, no soap. How are "employees" much less the rest of us supposed to wash anything off of your hands ....think about it. I told the bartender I would pay cash for my drink(s) due to paying for my food with a corporate card. First margarita...$17, no bill. 🤔 Second drink vodka soda....$17, no bill. I asked her about the charge, she said "oh that was a double" I didn't order a double, and as an ex bartender, that wasn't a double. So, as someone that remembers all the tricks, she's not only ripping me off, she's ripping off the business, because she isn't ringing up doubles on the register. Oh, and for my work, I carry a pocket knife. They have a security guard there. It's 6pm....what kind of establishment am I

I came in for dinner during the "Alive on 25" street event, so it was a busy night. I was I a party of two. We were sat right away. And my partner got a beer immediately. I ordered a mixed drink and we had to ask about it multiple before I got it 40 minutes later. We watched the staff arguing with each other for the majority of the time we sat in the restaurant. We sat in the restaurant for two hours. The disorganization was impressive. Food went to the wrong tables constantly. We never got any food. After two hours we just asked for the check. The kitchen had never started our food order.

Looks lovely from the outside. Inside not so much. The small basket of chips were nice but didn't last the 30 mins for the food. When it finally arrived one dish was sent back because it was inedible. The other dish was bland, we took it home to add flavor. What a sad experience indeed.
