La Pasadita

La Pasadita is one of the best roadside food trucks I've had! The service was by far excellent. The young lady who took our order was very friendly and courteous. When it comes to fast food the people taking your orders couldn't be more dismissive with their attitudes. She treated my husband and I with much respect. Of course the atmosphere is in a dirt lot but once you step inside to place your order you're greeted immediately. I ordered the Shrimp Cocktail..DELICIOUS. It was served with a variety of condiments. Chili sauces,freshly cut radishes, cucumbers and shrimp that practically filled my glass. My husband ordered the Carne Asada Burrito. His comment was that he didn't realize how hungry he was because he finished the burrito in just a short time. He throughly enjoyed it. Definitely

This place is known for their seafood. The aguachiles are just appalling and skimpy. It is basically lots of cucumber with a couple raw shrimps. The campechana cóctel contains raw shrimp and fish. This is not common practice, and I admire them attempting to do a twist; yet, it's not working. Their shrimp and fish tacos are stellar and worth repeated visits . Also, stay away from the non-seafood.

Todays call-in order was actually ready for me when I arrived. There’s been times that I call my order in 10 minutes in-advance so it can be ready when I go pick it up. But usually what happens is, they take my order and don’t actually prepare my order until I get there and pay for it. The cashier once told me that they do that because sometimes people call in and order, but never come pick up the food, causing that order to be waste. I hope they figure out a better system because if I’m in a hurry and decide to call my order in advance, I’m expecting to arrive, pay and get my meal. I don’t want to have to wait for the cook to barely begin my order. The reason why I called it in, in the first place is to quickly expedite the process. Camarons Platillos & freshly handmade corn tortillas were amazing!

We took a drive and ended here. Food was very good, camarones ah la Diabla was amazing but really spicy. Their fish tacos are good but my favorite was the vampiro tostadas. Definitely recommend this place.
