La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant - Sandy Springs, GA

This La Parrilla is one of several in the Atlanta metro area. With an extensive menu of authentic Mexican dishes, this is not your typical “hot plate“ style restaurant. The service is exemplary, the food comes out hot, generous portions and beautifully plated. This location in particular with the high ceilings, can get noisy. The endless bowls of chips and salsa will not disappoint. They put on an extraordinary birthday celebration for my grandson. Well done! this location and the Powder Springs locations are two of their their finest. Highly recommended.

We are at La Parrilla for the first time yesterday. This was not just one of the best Mexican restaurants we’ve ever been to, but restaurants in general. It is beautifully decorated, bright with an open indoor/outdoor concept. The staff from door to manager was kind and welcoming. But I can’t say enough about our server, Adrian. He was kind, knowledgeable, attentive. He talked to our kid like a human and was conscious to remove jalapeños from our son’s nachos when I forgot to say so. And the FOOD!!! My son got the small chicken nachos and had enough to bring home. My husband got the steak fajitas - and they asked the steak temp! The bartending crew is simply top-tier: Alexa, Nai, Diana, Maria, Becca, Nahum, and Jeymi bring so much energy, personality, and professionalism to the bar. Whether it’s a classic margarita, a creative cocktail, or just friendly conversation, they absolutely nail it every time. Their attention to detail, speed, and consistency are unmatched—and they all bring their own unique flair that makes sitting at the bar a real experience. First time visiting this March. We came as a family on a Sunday evening. Vibes were good. Sangria was delicious. Table side Guac was amazing and the food even better. Our server Melanie was really nice and helpful. Will definitely come back.
