Wonderful food. I stopped for lunch for a quick break, I ordered tacos, it was cheaper than other tacos close by. The tacos had flavor, which I recommend the alpastor (marinated pork). I never tried that seasoning in any other place.
Sopes, they are to die for. They taste like homemade tortillas with that chicken with spices... WOW. They have stepped up the game with them. 😋 & the tamales raja and green are to die for. Must get them. Chef knows how to cook.
Small dining area in back of this bodega in a strip mall. Really enjoyed the massive special burrito (pineapple marinated pork-wow!) with rice and refried beans on the side. Chef came out of kitchen to check up on us when he saw how much we were enjoying the lunch. Relaxed, leisurely pace (it’s not fast food. Relax, look around)
I believe they stopped caring a long time ago about the food, the customers, the atmosphere, and specially about customer service is all awful now. It's a shame because the owners are from a state where is known for great mexican cuisine, Oaxaca. The only good thing about this place is the memories from 10 years ago.
Loved it. 😋 Food made from scratch. Got some Bimbo products for home.
